Our experiences abroad

I am only 18 years old and my experiences abroad are not many, but even if they are few they taught me so much. I visited London, Paris, Dubai, Berlin, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Switzerland, Austria and Spain.

Travelling makes you discover new cultures, new religions, new traditions and new people. One thing that all countries have in common is the English language. Now English is really very important because it is the language used to communicate with anyone, to be understood in any place. That’s why you need to study it, whether it’s for work or fun. In my opinion the best way to learn English is to go to the countries where it is the mother tongue.

Another important thing is to travel alone, because if you travel with your family or friends it will be easier to speak your language. The experience that helped me the most was that of Berlin. I decided to get on a plane alone and I left for three weeks to go to a college. I met people of all nationalities and we spoke English all day. In addition, it is an experience that made me become more independent and that allowed me to meet great people and visit a beautiful city.
